Create Your Own Comic Book

Planet Wide Media has put comic book creation in YOUR hands! That's right, no matter how skilled (or unskilled) you may be at being an artist, Planet Wide has put together a wonderful series of PC based software that allows you to control the destiny of the universe! :)

I was lucky enough to get to test a couple of their products and I had a blast using two different programs. The first was the Charlotte's Web based Storybook Creator which allows you to put together illustrated stories featuring all of your favorite characters from the movie hit! With over 100 images from the actual movie itself, there is no end to the stories you can put together with this. You didn't like how the movie ended? Well change it, you now have the power.

The other product I tested out was the Comic Book Creator and boy was this fun. This was right up my alley featuring templates, fonts, backgrounds and crazy characters for me to choose from. There was just something about this software that had me building everyone in here their own personal comic book (of course I made Mandy a villain!).

Both of these titles are fairly easy to use from installation to story building. Although I had a tougher time putting things together with the Charlotte's Web piece than with the Comic Book Creator, once I got them both working, they played off each other nicely. Plus playing around on one helped me learn new things with the other. The installation process is a piece of cake and has step by step directions in case you run into any issues. Top it off with the endless amount of art and images offered and you'll be hooked and pumping out 30 page masterpieces in no time.
